MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hello Pioneer Band Fans,
We are back in full swing with an exciting Summer Concert Program. Director Bob Billig and the rest of our band members have been working very hard since we were able to start rehearsing together as a group in late April. Due to the Pandemic, we were rehearsing outdoors until July 12th. I would like to personally invite you to all of our concerts and ask that you bring along a few friends. There will be very diverse and entertaining programs.

We continue to "Go Green" whenever possible so if you have an email address, please send it to pioneerbandallentown@gmail.com so we can update our database. We would also prefer to send our newsletters and concert information electronically through email if possible. Postage and printing costs continue to go up along with everything else. On that note, if you are able to support the band with our mission of "Preserving the Great American Concert Band Tradition" please contact us to see how you can help.
As we begin our 132nd season, the Band and I look forward to performing for you.

ALLENTOWN FESTIVAL OF BANDS
The Festival of Bands Committee has expressed concern that the covid cases are again on the increase.
With that in mind, they feel that it is in the best interest for the health of our participants and the audience,
we will again be postponing the Festival of Bands concert.
They hope the situation will improve enough to allow
everyone to get together sometime in the spring.
